Edible Garden & Gardening
Groups are always welcome to help out with keeping Copeland Cottage and Harrison Campsite tidy. We have Gardening sessions regularly throughout the year, if you would be able to help even only once or twice a year we would love to see you

Bulb planting
In the Autumn and early winter why not do bulb planting. We are trying to create a spring flowering meadow under the orchard in the cottage garden. Feel free to plant daffodils, crocus, snowdrops or tulips in this area near to the fruit trees or along the base of the hedgerows.
Newcastle under Lyme units can apply for community bulb packs from the Borough Council for your members to plant free of charge!

Edible garden and orchard
We have created a delicious fruit picking area where in the summer months visiting groups can experience the joy of picking warm sweet fruits straight from the plant. We also have lots of herbs and sometimes vegetables perfect for adding to your meals during your stay.

Bring along strawberry plants and plant them in the fruit garden for everyone to enjoy over future years.
In season why not pick ripe fruit to add to your menu! Use of the fruit garden should be supervised please!
